OUR STORY
Matilda's Field began in 2017 when we moved to Tyddyn Amlwg and decided to make it not only our home, but a site that could provide a temporary retreat from the everyday for our guests.
Tyddyn Amlwg is set in an incredibly peaceful location in the middle of the Dyfnant forest. It's hard to find but that's part of the adventure in getting here (follow our instructions on the 'Getting Here' page and you'll be fine). Once you've found us we think you will agree that Matilda's Field is: #oncefoundneverforgotten.
OUR SMALLHOLDING
Matilda's Field is set within a 6 acre smallholding at Tyddyn Amlwg. We are surrounded by forest and wildlife, and our site is home to sheep, lambs and cats amongst others.
