Getting here & Essential Info

Important info about where we are and what you need to know:-
We are in the middle of a forest (you will be too if you visit us!).  We are 3 miles from a tarmac/council-maintained road. The forest track (which can be uneven in places) has a speed limit in place (15-18mph).  Please do stick to this (especially if your car has a low suspension), as you will be sharing the track with walkers, horse riders, cyclists, wildlife and the odd escaped sheep!

There are no streetlights, therefore at sundown it can get dark very quickly and you will need torches to find your way around.
The phone signal is limited, however if you are on the EE network you can receive a signal in places.

Bring wellies even if it is summer. The weather can be changeable (we are 1200 feet above sea level), and there is likely to be dew on the grass early in the morning.

Essential items to bring with you:-

Torch
Wellies/Walking boots
Indoor footwear/Crocs
Water bottles
Map of the area
Warm clothes
Raincoat
Umbrella

Food and Drink for your stay
